Heartbreaking. "Don't call her a martyr, she wanted to live" mother of Dhaka terror victim wails at her funeral

Tulika Jain, mother of 19-year-old Tarishi Jain, who was killed in the Dhaka terror attack was inconsolable at her funeral on Monday, July 4.
"Don't call her a martyr, she wanted to live" the devastated woman wailed, her head on her daughter's casket "I wont be strong. I don't want to be strong. Why did they kill my daughter? I need a reason why she was killed. Is life so cheap?"
At the cremation in Gurgaon, 1,800km from Gulshan in Bangladeshi's capital, the mother was beside herself with grief, speaking mostly to herself, friends and family who gathered around her. Clutching photographs of the family, Tulika called out to her husband, Sanjiv, and said:
"She was killed because she was Indian. Tell everyone the truth, the truth is that she was killed because she was an Indian. Why my Taru? She was a good girl. What did we do wrong that my Taru had to die like this?" Tulika asked. "Don't call her a martyr, she wanted to live. I was just some distance away when my Taru was being hunted down. Why didn't I do something?"
Sanjiv and Tarishi's brother Sanchit, who performed his sister's last rites around 5pm on the cremation ground at Sukhrali village in Gurgaon, tried to hold back their emotions. But Tulika was inconsolable.
"I don't know anything, why is she dead, tell me? Should she be dead? She was just at a bakery doing what teens do. She had gone to Dhaka on a holiday and she wanted to do so much good for the people there. How was she an enemy for the terrorists?" she kept asking those who surrounded her at the Gurgaon community centre where Tarishi's body was brought after being flown in from Dhaka.
Tulika, who had accompanied her daughter from Dhaka on the flight to Delhi, remained firm in the belief till the body was taken away for the funeral that the 19-year-old could be revived.
"Everything will be all right. Mamaji, you are a doctor, do something. I know medicines can perform miracles. I know she will get up, mamaji get her to me. Get her to me please," she pleaded, holding the hands of an elderly man who, too, began to cry.
Her voice hoarse from hours of crying, Tulika broke down when the time came to dress up her daughter's body.
"This is too loose, she won't like it. Get it off her. It's unsmart, she won't wear it,"
Tulika told some of her relatives who held her steady as she put a blue salwar-kurta on her daughter for the last time.

When someone handed her a bindi for Tarishi's forehead, Tulika refused, saying her daughter wouldn't put it on. She did finally relent.

"Honestly we need to discuss this, why people use the word "OLOWO LOMA KUUREE". When I was a young man in my 20s, many things people just seeing me do today I have been doing.. like travelling abroad on FIRST CLASS or PRIORITY CLASS.. One thing I never liked in my life is, why I should have to wait until some class of people get out of an aircraft that took all of us to the same destinations... They would say "OLOWO LOMA KUUREE"
"When we used to travel those days in the past to places like London, Rome, Italy, France & Madrid in Spain... Very serious people studying HARD goes to Germany or USSR Soviet Union then but now Russia... Hmmmmm Oju tin laasiii. AMERICA is ORUN Kalo -Kabo..
Gone were the days my people...
I remember vividly one of my Holiday Trip to london England, I was to stay in my friends house then on Queensbridge Road London S.E ...Late Gabisiyu Alani Aderemi, may God forgive his soul, UK Immigration follow me to his house that evening to know whose Address I was trying to describe for them... That evening I felt proud when Alani came out with his wife then, my darling sister Hadja Basirat Abimbola Dada to say they were my host on that trip.. Why because, how come a man flying on First Class could not properly describe where he was going.. Honestly "OLOWO LOMA KUUREE"
But the truth of it is that, many has that money but either refused to spend it for a best reasons known to them or just out of "STINGYNESS"

NNPC reorganised, not unbundled – Kachikwu says

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu, says the oil corporation is only being reorganized and not unbundled. He said this while speaking with State House Correspondence after the Federal Executive Council meeting today March 9th.

"We have not unbundled NNPC. We had a press conference yesterday where I explained this. What we have simply done is reorganisation. We have five business entities focus on business: Upstream, Downstream, Refineries, Gas and Power that are there before. There is also Ventures that captures all our little companies that were not having proper stewardship. They are run by individuals who report to the GMD. The NNPC is still a whole. There is nothing new that has happened. I have tried to explain this and I am sure the NNPC workers are members of the family, they will understand. We are going to have a meeting, and they will be made to understand. Perhaps the engagement has not been good enough. NNPC has not been unbundled in the sense of breaking up NNPC into distinct institutions. I am concerned. I don’t want the industry shut down. I am sure we are going to resolve the issues very soon,” he said

Big girls Balling (BGB) Exclusive: Dencia accuses luxury shopper Pearl and one Abiola Akinlonu of stealing N40m from her

Read the press statement sent exclusively to LIB below...Pearl is the personal shopper who had issues with Tonto Dikeh in 2014. Read below...
40 million naira + $15,000 Fraud, Conspiracy, Theft, Forgery and Identity Theft activities of Miss Chuks Pearl Nneamaka Ogonna and Mr.Akinlonu Abiola Mobolaji
To whom it may concern I will like to  provide a timeline of how this aforementioned pair conspired to steal the sum of approximately 40 million naira from me and my company,Whitenicious Inc.

In and around August 2014, I hired the aforementioned person -Pearl to represent my company as a salesperson in Nigeria and other neighboring countries. Her key responsibility was to sell and deliver products to clients who were unable to place online orders with credit or debit cards. Pearl was a fan who told me her family situation and I tried helping her by employing her.

Clients were instructed to deposit funds only to her bank account and some paid cash on delivery. In 2014 between August and the end of that year, she reported sales of 6,259,089.49 million Naira. In 2015,27.987,658.8 Million Naira and over 8.1 million naira so far in 2016. Collectively this amounts to over the sum of 40 million naira (estimated $200,000). The money was entrusted in her possession and an estimated 5 million naira was used for approved expenses and errands.

I entrusted Pearl with the money and fulfilled my promise to assist in arranging for her to come to my company headquarters in California for training. I had never met her in person till I visited Nigeria on business in 2015. I successfully arranged for a two year work visa and footed her expenses to fly out business class to California and also provided her with all the comforts and amenities I share with my loved ones including my cars and home, known as @pumpsberry @rodeodrng on Instagram most of her followers can testify to the lifestyle I provided for her,she attended the BET awards last year and all the pre events, this year she attended the Grammy awards in the USA February 15th,I personally on many occasions bought her expensive clothes and shoes such as Gucci,Cavaoilli , buscemi, louboutins and more. She was treated like a sister and I defended her relentlessly during her public disagreement with a Nigerian celebrity out of loyalty to her.MissChuks use to retail Replica high end designer clothes, shoes, bags and more, when she visited me in 2015, I sat her down and told her it wasn't a good look and instead put in money towards the business and buying authentic designer goods to resell.

Unknowingly to me, she and her boyfriend Akinlonu Abiola Mobolaji were stealing the money she was entrusted with. In addition to these embezzled funds, an additional $15,000 was advanced to her to secure a location for a proposed boutique where I intended to start a venture selling high end fashion items in Abuja. The texts also detail how she conspired to defraud an additional $8,000 which I didn't send.

Everything was revealed and her criminal activities were unexpectedly exposed when I randomly was looking through her phone at 2AM March 2nd in an attempt to try to convince her boyfriend not to break up with her via text. I stumbled across the texts on her phone explaining in detail how she and her boyfriend Akinlonu Abiola Mobolaji conspired to steal my credit cards and banking information to attempt to buy cars. I had noticed some suspicious activities on my card prior to reading the texts and can only conclude she probably had something to do with it. I have asked my book keeper to initiate an audit to determine the exact amount stolen by this pair.

When I confronted her with my evidence she confessed to the allegations and still cannot adequately account for the money she was entrusted with. She claims she loaned her mother Mrs Eddienwachukwu Chinwe blessings Nonyelum N3M and boyfriend Akinlonu Abiola Mobolaji N10M and $13,000.Her own texts in her own words explain how she was buying bottles of expensive alcohol and living it up with my stolen funds despite my generosity and kindness towards her. She has betrayed my trust and squandered the life changing opportunity I provided her. There are millions of people who will have cherished a similar opportunity so I refuse to let this change who I am as a person. Everything I did for her was from the kindness of my heart and without expectations.

Despite the colossal betrayal, I still let her stay in my house and fed her. I was upset but never attacked her physically or verbally. I was more concerned about recovering my money, cutting my losses and having her return to her residence in Kaduna Nigeria. It was never my intent to let this situation develop into a public matter, I am not putting this out for the court of public opinions to judge us.My preference was to keep this situation as a private matter. I told her mom to buy her a ticket to return to Nigeria on the 5th of March ( see attached message) but her mom ignored that because she wanted to come to la, I didn't feel safe or comfortable with her at my house so I paid for her return ticket to Nigeria after her family didn't act on it.Her family was trying to put money together as they claimed ( see screenshot) Her Dad claimed their pastor said the boy Akinlonu Abiola Mobolaji used Juju on her but I dismissed that because more money was missing not just what she gave the boy ( see attached account information which excludes N8M from 2016 sales.

However, on Monday March 7th 2016, the police showed up at my residence in response to a  criminal complaint from Pearls mother who claimed I kidnapped her daughter. Kidnapping is a serious crime  which can result in decades in prison. Even worse, such a false evil allegation after what just happened to me was an unbearable insult. The police officers were shown evidence of a return ticket and I have videos of Pearl voluntarily confessing to stealing my money. I was asked to press charges against her here in California but declined. I know she will be jailed and deported and that will not get me my money.  The officers explained how her mothers intent was to have me arrested on Charges of attempted kidnapping so her daughter could leave scotch free but when they showed up and saw her walking my Dog outside. After questioning myself & Pearl,They didn't understand what the kidnapping story was about, they asked me if I wanted her arrested and told me the steps to take.My intentions are not for Pearl to go through the American prison system, her family doesn't have the money to even help themselves talk less of lawyers in the USA plus I already didn't feel safe with her being even in California as I didn't trust her at all.I told the Ventura county police that this case will be handled in Africa where Pearl will be arrested upon arrival, I presented them her air ticket and the petition for her arrest. My only interest at this point is the recovery of my money so I am sending out this release in an tempt to recover my stolen funds.

Frankly, I am utterly disappointed in her mothers malicious actions whom I also extended my generosity to as well..Pearl told me how her sister was constantly mocked because no one believed she knew me so I decided to spend over $5000 flying out to New York where she was visiting from December to January ( I landed January 6th 2015 ) to meet her family and gave her mother money after she pleaded she didn't have money to eat and move around, money to buy boxes and she had not bought anything for the kids and her husband. The same person is now claiming I kidnaped  her daughter.I have attached two links on YouTube with Pearl confessing to her hideous criminal behavior. It's clear as day she is not remorseful and I'm beyond disappointed at her mother's r(Mrs Eddienwachukwu Chinwe blessings Nonyelum) response. Before my trip to New York Pearl claimed her mom wasn't doing well in New York and asked me to send her $500 which I did, Keep in mind this is barely a month after my brother passed but I still found the space in my heart to help her mom.

Again I never wanted to make this a public issue but I was advised by my legal counsel and numerous law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation to issue a press release to avoid any possible extortion or slander to my reputation.
At this point, I have asked my attorney and applicable law enforcement agencies to assist in recovering my stolen funds.I will not make anymore comments on this regardless of what her family says.Everyone who works for me personally or my company enjoys the luxury I have put in place for me, most people have been in a bad situation before but it's worst when a family you helped decides to abuse of your kindness.I gave Pearl's mom the option of trying to get this boy to get the funds or let pearl get arrested and deal with her problems as an adult and her mom said they will come up with the money but the next thing that followed was the police at my door saying I kidnapped Pearl.I live in a gated community with security and Pearl was free to do what she wanted to do,Pearl packed her bags to leave and after we went through it we still found my property she stole and other things she had stolen from her previous trip to la in 2015. I trusted Miss Chuks with this money because we were going to use these funds down in Nigeria to setup Rodeodrng store and since I travelled often back and fourth to Africa I didn't think it was necessary I get the money from Nigeria to America.I should have known she had plans when she asked my house keeper Martha if I had Cameras around my house of which Martha told her We did.

Revealed: Adolf Hitler's disgusting fetish

The fuhrer who reportedly had a micro penis and only one testicle had a sexual fetish that would put off even the most adventurous fetishists. According to top secret wartime studies by a US intelligence agency, the evil Fuhrer had a passion for "poo sex". He was a coprohiliac, someone who gets turned on by poo. He loved to lay down, have women stand over him and just let their bowels go.
A secret document by Dr Walter C. Langer for  the US Office of Strategic Services exposed his stomach churning sex life. The doctor said: "The practice of this perversion represents the lowest depths of degradation."

Adolf allegedly performed this gross sexual fantasy with his niece Geli Raubal.

Nazi, Ernst Roehm, reportedly said his leader loved "peasant girls"

He said: "When they stand in the fields and bend down at their work so that you can see their behinds, that's what he likes, especially when they've got big round ones. That's Hitler's sex life what a man."

The psychological report stated Hitler was not capable of normal sex. It also claimed that during a night with German film star Renate Müller, Hitler forced her to kick him as he lay curled up on the floor.

She was later found dead after committing suicide, the report notes. (source Lindaikeji)

Read President Buhari's Christmas message to Nigerians

Read the president's Christmas message below..
I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially our Christian brothers and sisters, on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas. On this occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, let us all rededicate ourselves to the virtues of peace, love, honesty, justice, equity, piety, humility and service to others which he taught.
There can be no doubt that a greater manifestation of these virtues and ideals in our lives will immensely help us to become a more united, peaceful, secure and progressive nation.

Let us also reach out in love and compassion to fellow Nigerians who are in distress at this period of our nation’s history.

I particularly urge you all to remember victims of terrorism and insurgency in the country, especially Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

The Federal Government will continue to collaborate with state governments and other stakeholders to ease the harsh conditions in IDP camps, while the ultimate objective remains to quickly put an end to insurgency and return the IDPs to their homes.

We must never again allow any group to hold the nation to ransom under whatever guise.

Let us also not allow current socio-economic and security challenges to dampen our expectations for a better Nigeria.

This administration has taken a number of measures to restore hope to our people. The 2016 Budget defines our commitment to giving Nigeria a new lease of life.

Our change slogan is not a campaign gimmick but a promise that must be kept. We are determined to bring about tangible changes in the lives of our people.

In this regard, efforts will be intensified to recover stolen funds, block revenue leakages and enthrone due process, transparency and accountability.

Public office is a public trust that must be held to the highest ethical standards.

I wish all Nigerians a Merry Christmas.

Please drive carefully.

Photos: This lady is looking for her father

24 year old Yetunde Brown, a student at the College of Agriculture in Jalingo, Taraba state is searching for her father who she simply knows as Major Brown. While narrating her story to NTA, Yetunde said her late mother, Asabe Lodiya who died in 2002, only handed her a photo of her father without giving her his name or any other information about him. She said;
"I don't know my father's real name. I have his picture and I have my mother's picture. I only know him as Major Brown. Those who I met and asked about him, said they know him as Major Brown because that is his popular name. He is the one that named me Yetunde saying that I am his mother that came back. I can't just believe that if truly I am his mother that came back, he can just dump me in Taraba there without knowing anything about me.  I want people out there to help me look for him or to talk to him. I believe there are my relatives out there. I want to know my father's family. I want to see my father if he is still alive because since I was born, I have never set my eyes on him" she said

UK Govt refuses Islamic group planning permission to build Britain's largest mosque

Opponents to the plans claim the sect promotes an "ultra-conservative" brand of Islam and that the plans would have led to heightened tensions in the area. Supporters have been attempting to have the plans agreed for 13 years but in 2012 the scheme, officially called the Abbey Mills Markaz, was rejected by Newham councillors.

The group appealed and took their application to a three-week long public inquiry in summer last year - the report of which was handed to the Government in January. A source is reported to have said: "This proposal has created a great division in Newham.
"That would get a lot worse if the thing was built."

Alan Craig, a former Newham councillor who led the campaign against the plans, said: “This is fantastic news.
"For a decade and a half, Tablighi Jamaat has pulled out every stop to get its way, but at last the spectre is over.”  Before the decision was made, the plans were subject to furious scrutiny and campaigning by far-right extremist groups such as the BNP.

The Islamic group behind the plans already has a temporary mosque for 2,500 worshippers on site and despite a 2013 High Court order to close it, it remains open.

Bristow Helicopter crash survivors testify in TB Joshua's church

Article written and sent in by journalist, Ihechukwu Njoku. Read below...
Two survivors of the tragic incident that saw a Bristow helicopter crash into the lagoon in Oworonshoki, Lagos on Wednesday 12th August, 2015 have testified that it was 'God's hand' that saved them from certain death. On Sunday 25th October, oil workers Chukwudi Onah and Dolu Ebiejuara appeared in the church of controversial Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua to thank God for preserving their lives in the disaster that led to six fatalities, including that of the pilot and co-pilot.

According to Onah, it was 'Morning Water' he had received at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations' (SCOAN) that was instrumental to his survival. "I never leave it anywhere I am going. It's always with me, along with my Anointing Sticker," he explained to the congregation.
"On that fateful day, before I left my room, I prayed that God would take charge and thanked Him for journeying mercies," he continued, stating that he sprayed the 'Morning Water' upon himself.
According to Onah, there were no signs of trouble as the flight was going "very smoothly". However, merely minutes away from arriving at Lagos Murtala Muhammed Airport (DNMM), tragedy struck.
"The chopper suddenly turned," Onah vividly described. "Everybody became confused. We were shouting Jesus! The chopper was dangling up and down. I didn't even know when it fell inside the water."
As the Bristow Sikosky S76 C+ helicopter began descending steadily to the bottom of the lagoon, Onah was strapped heavily into his seatbelt and could not move. "I shouted, 'God of TB Joshua - save me' ", he recounted, adding that his lungs soon filled up with water.
According to the SEDCO oil worker, what transpired next can only be termed 'supernatural'. Staring death in the face, confused and struggling to free himself, Onah said he heard a 'voice' speaking clearly to him.
"It's just as you are hearing me now. The voice said, 'Your seatbelt.' I took my hand to the side of the seat belt and it became suddenly loose. The same voice came again and said, 'Your lifejacket'. I took my hand to the side of the life-jacket and it suddenly inflated. It now carried me up from down to the top of the sea."
Onah somberly recounted that the two passengers seated directly besides him were among the fatalities. "If not for Jesus, I would have died. I give the glory to Jesus Christ who saved my life," he said, bringing out the 'Anointing Sticker' from his pocket that he had with him on the day of the ill-fated journey.
Dolu Ebiejuara similarly stated that he was a regular visitor to The SCOAN and had ministered 'Morning Water' before entering the helicopter that day. Recounting his experience, he said, "All that I saw was the helicopter take a sharp turn and then we were just plummeting down."
Moments before the crash, Ebiejuara said that he lost consciousness. "All I could remember was that I saw myself swimming. There is no way I could have come out of the helicopter without removing my seat belt but I was not the one. I don't even know how I came out under the water. I know it is God's doing because there is God's hand in the Morning Water."
The duo both sustained injuries but have since recovered. They were accompanied by more than seventeen family members who came to share the testimony.
Intriguingly, T.B. Joshua himself was not present in the service, making it more than five months since he has been seen in public.

FG files money laundering charge against former NSA Sambo Dasuki

The Federal Government has filed a fresh charge of money laundering against former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki. The former National Security Adviser is standing trial for illegal arms possession while he was in office.

At the resumed hearing of the case at the Federal High Court (FHC) Abuja today October 26th, Counsel to the Federal Government, Shuaib Labaran filed the fresh charge and asked the court to grant its request for a secret trial and also grant that the witnesses brought in by the Department of State Services (DSS) to be masked.

Dasuki's counsel, Joseph Daudu (SAN), opposed the application of a secret trial, arguing that the case is a harmless one within a democratic setting. The presiding Judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola, adjourned the case to Wednesday October 28th for ruling.

THIS WOMAN EHN!! FG-Okonjo-Iweala spent $2.1bn without approval

The National Economic Council, chaired by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday accused former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, of spending $2.1bn from the Excess Crude Account without authorisation.

“We looked at the numbers for the Excess Crude Account. The last time the former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, reported to the council, and it is in the minutes, she reported by November 2014 that we had $4.1 bn.
Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole told State House correspondents after the NEC’s 58th meeting in Abuja.
“Today, the Accountant-General Office reported we have $2.0bn. Which means the honourable minister spent $2.1bn without authority of the NEC and that money was not distributed to states, it was not paid to the three tiers of government,”
According to the economic council, the ‘unauthorised’ spending is among the several anomalies discovered in the management of the nation’s economy between 2012 and May 2015.

Within the period, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation was said to have earned a total of N8.1 tn but remitted only N4.3tn.

Due to this reason, the Federal Government has constituted Oshiomhole, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai; Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel; and Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, into a panel to probe the NNPC and the ECA between 2012 and May, 2015.

Oshiomhole, el-Rufai, Emmanuel and the Zamfara State Governor, Abdulazeez Yari, jointly briefed journalists at the end of the meeting.

Yari told journalists, through the Director of Funds, Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. M.K. Dikwa, that council members received the report of the ECA and unremitted funds by the NNPC.

He said:
“On that line, a four-man committee consisting of the governors of Edo, Gombe, Kaduna and Akwa Ibom states was constituted to go through the books of the NNPC and Excess Crude as well as the Federation Account.
”The four-man committee will check the books of the NNPC, most especially the issue of excess crude and what is not remitted into the Federation Account.
“The Federal Government, in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria, will look inwards to see how to support and how much they will give to states, especially on the issue of outstanding salaries owed by the states and even the Federal Government.”
Explaining what happened at the NEC meeting, Oshiomhole said the NNPC and the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation were compelled for the first time to provide information on the total sales of Nigeria’s crude from 2012 to May 2015.

The Edo governor said,
“We are talking about transparency; we are talking about change. And what we saw from those numbers, which I believe that Nigerians are entitled to know, is that whereas the NNPC claimed to have earned N8.1tn, what NNPC paid into the Federation Account from 2012 to May 2015 was N4.3tn.
“What it means is that the NNPC withheld and spent N3.8 tn.
“The major revelation here is that the entire federation, that is the Federal Government, the states and all the 774 local governments, the amount the NNPC paid into the Federation Account for distribution to these three tiers of government came to N4.3 tn and the NNPC alone took and spent N3.8tn.
“This means that the cost of running the NNPC is much more than the cost of running the Federal Government. That tells you how much is missing, what is mismanaged and what is stolen. There are huge figures.”
“If the Federal Government cannot spend without appropriation, why should any agency spend without appropriation.
“This is what the Constitution provided for and this is what President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to do; henceforth all money must go to the Federation Account.
“If you were doing that, you would not have a situation where the NNPC alone will spend N3.8trn and remit to the federal, states and local governments N4.3trn, which means NNPC is taking about 47 per cent and that explains all the leakages you are talking about.”
El-Rufai said the account was set up in order to be accountable such that every state and local government would know what they had in the account though they could not spend it.

He said,
“The Excess Crude Account is 52 per cent owned by the Federal Government and 48 per cent owned by the states and the local governments.
“So the decision of the NEC is to set up this committee of four to look at the operations of the Excess Crude Account and make recommendations to council on its future.
“The other thing the committee will do is to look at the operations of the Federation Account, particularly the shortfall and again come back to council with very clear recommendations as to what to do.
“We have not been given a time frame but as you can imagine state governments are under pressure, many of our state governments are unable to pay salaries on time without recourse to borrowing, so this is very important to us.
“This is an all-governors’ committee; we wear the shoes and we know where they pinch. So we are going to do this as quickly as possible.
“The next meeting of the council is on July 23; we hope to complete our work and be in a position to report to council on that day. So within the next one month, we will be done by God’s grace.”
